Information about Preparation for Emergencies
Across the District communities are always looking to improve their resilience in the event of an emergency, and a booklet has been produced by the Gloucestershire Local Resilience Forum to make the task easier.
The ‘Are You Ready?’ booklet provides clear practical advice to help people prepare for and respond to an emergency. Advice includes: devising a family emergency plan; looking out for neighbours; establishing ‘emergency friends’; community alarm systems; and coping with severe weather, security incidents and loss of power.
