Sapperton is a civil parish in the Cotswold District of Gloucestershire in England, about 4.5 miles (7.2 km) west of Cirencester. It is most famous for Sapperton canal tunnel and its connection with the Cotswold Arts and Crafts Movement in the early 20th century. It has a population of 424, reducing to 412 at the 2011 census. The parish includes the villages of Sapperton and Frampton Mansell. The outlying hamlet of Daneway lies in the parish of Bisley, but is nearer to the village of Sapperton and often considered a part of it.

The National Government is proposing to replace the current local government structure with larger 'unitary authorities'.
The Road from Sapperton down the hill to the Daneway Inn will now be closed between 8 September and 12 September 2025 to allow for ground investigation work by GCC Highways. There will ne NO Emergency Access
The Parish Council will convene an additional meeting on Monday 16 June at 11am in Sapperton Village Hall. This meeting is necessary in order to finalise the Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR) ahead of the June 30 deadline.
The Parish Council meets on the second Tuesday each month except August
