Annual Internal Audits
The Annual Internal Audit is conducted by an independant auditor. The signed report forms part of the Annual Governance & Accountability Return. The checklist shows that certain aspects of council management have been reviewed and whether or not they warrent a positive response.
In the 2023/2024 Internal Audit Report there was one negative response at G regarding whether or not the Parish Council has correctly set itself up as an employer with HMRC and that payroll and NI etc have been correctly applied We are currently checking and will provide full information on this as soon as possible.
